With media fully focused on Mumbai blasts…nobody seems to have learnt that chennai witnessed flash floods due to cyclone NISHA,except those who are still loyal to our good old doordarshan :)

Again a terror attack in Mumbai…these days I m feeling pessimistic about my country’s future.
Are we a country of eunuchs?? Why can’t we do an Israel on terrorism?
but the cultural fabric of this country prevents us from doing it.
“unity in diversity” the much decorated dictum needs to be revised.
We need to take some BIG corrective actions ASAP.
To all those big shots in Delhi
C’mon blast off pakis & bangladeshis, if we intend to remain safe in our own homeland.
Just spare a thought for ur country…don’t play politics…strike the iron when it is red hot.

The classic solution to induce demand in a demand destruction market conditions (as prevailing in present times) is to reduce cost of the product.
Though the profit-loss book will take a hit bcoz of it, but I do think that it’s a better thing, to operate on less profit margin rather than piling up ur inventories & waiting for market to improve or take up cost cutting measures like employee layoffs.
this thought comes into my mind as I hear citi group is removing 20% of its global workforce, Pepsi co is removing 3500 employees. Though I cannot speculate whether these decisions are right or wrong especially when people like Indra nooyi & vikram pandit are involved…just a passing thought

As i read news about how a small under paid community worker has rose to post of the most powerful man on earth (yeah i m talking @ Barack Obama),just remembered few words of another influential american.
“The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life.
But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done ! Now if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers, saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody ! Cowards do that, and that ain’t you !”.
